Travel To Cork

Getting to and from Cork is easy… when you know how! Here are our top tips:

By Plane

Cork Airport is just 20 minutes from city centre and has direct flights to many countries in Europe. Shannon Airport and Dublin Airport are your backup options. Expect a journey time of roughly 2h30m from Shannon or 3h30m from Dublin Airport by public transport.

By Ferry

Brittany Ferries offer twice-weekly services directly into the heart of Cork City from France, and from France or Spain to Rosslare. Irish Ferries have 5 sailings per week from France to Dublin. Both Irish Ferries and Stena Line offer daily crossings from the UK to Rosslare and Dublin Port. Both ports are roughly 3 hours by car from Cork City.

By Bus/Train

From Cork or Shannon Airports, Bus Éireann (national bus service) is your best bet. From Dublin Airport, Citylink bus is the most direct. From Dublin City, we’d recommend the train.
