Pre-Congress Workshop 2 12 October (10:00 – 13:30 and 15:00 – 18:30)
How could you do research in your daily practice of Body Psychotherapy
Cultivating a Somatically-Informed Research Mind
In this pre-congress workshop we develop an experimental attitude in which we can explore our own existing Research Skills. By exploring the main Principles of Scientific Thinking (Use of Empirical Evidence, Practice of Logical Reasoning, Possessing a Skeptical Attitude) we create an embodied perspective, which is central for a research-oriented Body Psychotherapy.
This Workshop will be the first of several workshops in order to create national research committees. The task of the EABP Science & Research Committee is to give guidelines and support, the SR Symposium will stimulate these Ideas.
